On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom looking towards the sea. The other overlooks the 9m x 4m swimming pool.

The gardens are terraced and well planted to provide an altogether lovely environment with exceptional views in every direction. A sheltered arbour beside the house means that there can be two completely sepaerate centres of activity: one around the pool and the other on the ground floor level.

The house is on the upper road above the busy village of Tourrette and looks down on sheep pasture once used for transhumance or winter pasture. This is now a preserved environment as is the forest above the house. The nature reserve of hill oak wood and limestone outcrop is within less than half a mile of the gate. Walking past the house you come to the lane up to the hill top and enter a world of considerable archeological interest, miles of walking and some of the best views of the coast. This is a marked walk for Ramblers.

The house is equipped for 6 people and also has a cot and high chair making it an ideal solution for a young family. The ground floor bedroom is ideal for grandparents who might not want to use the stairs or leave the level of the ground floor. It is probably not ideal for young children as the grounds are steeply terraced.

The house is let out by arrangement with the owners and is managed by a local agent who will meet you upon arrival and arrange to close up upon your departure. Taxis can be arranged from Tourrettes village to pick you up at the airport. There is a free bus to Vence for grocery shopping from the car-park at the bottom of the lane.
